Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CampusFlow, Sri Lanka's tuition marketplace. Please read them carefully before creating an account or using our services. By registering, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you are under 18 years of age, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use CampusFlow.

1. The CampusFlow Platform

CampusFlow is an online marketplace that connects students seeking tuition with qualified teachers across all 25 districts of Sri Lanka. We provide the technology platform; we are not a party to the teaching or learning relationship between students and teachers. CampusFlow does not guarantee the quality of any class or the accuracy of any teacher profile.

3. Teachers — Responsibilities & Conduct

• You must accurately represent your qualifications, experience, and subjects. Misleading or false claims may result in immediate removal.
• You are responsible for delivering classes as described in your listings, including the stated schedule, location, and price.
• You must not alter the monthly fee after a student has enrolled without that student's explicit written consent.
• You are solely responsible for collecting payments and issuing receipts. CampusFlow facilitates the recording of payment status but does not hold or transfer funds on your behalf.
• You must not share or request students' personal contact information outside the CampusFlow platform for commercial purposes.
• You agree to treat all enrolled students with respect and in compliance with applicable Sri Lankan law.

4. Students — Responsibilities & Conduct

• You must upload a genuine payment receipt when enrolling in a class. Submitting fraudulent, altered, or duplicate receipts is strictly prohibited and may result in permanent account suspension.
• Enrollment is confirmed only after the teacher reviews and approves your payment receipt. CampusFlow does not guarantee enrollment until this approval occurs.
• You agree to respect the teacher's class rules, schedule, and instructions.
• Refund requests must be directed to the teacher. CampusFlow does not process or mediate refunds but may assist in disputes at its discretion.

5. Payments

CampusFlow is a marketplace that records payment intent and receipt confirmation. All actual financial transactions — bank transfers, cash payments, and others — occur directly between the student and the teacher. CampusFlow is not a payment processor and accepts no liability for failed, delayed, or disputed payments. Teachers are solely responsible for any applicable taxes on their income.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Post content that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, or otherwise objectionable.
• Attempt to access, reverse-engineer, or disrupt CampusFlow's servers, databases, or software.
• Scrape, harvest, or otherwise extract data from CampusFlow without prior written consent.
• Use the platform to advertise services unrelated to tutoring.
• Manipulate ratings or reviews.
• Circumvent any security or access-control measure.

7. Intellectual Property

The CampusFlow name, logo, and platform design are the exclusive property of CampusFlow (Pvt) Ltd. You may not use them without our prior written consent. By uploading content (profile photos, class descriptions, receipts), you grant CampusFlow a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and display that content solely to operate the platform. You retain ownership of your content.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

CampusFlow is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty, express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by Sri Lankan law, CampusFlow's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed LKR 10,000 or the amount you paid to CampusFlow in the six months preceding the claim, whichever is lower. CampusFlow is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

9. Account Suspension & Termination

CampusFlow may suspend or terminate your account at any time for breach of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason we deem appropriate. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting support. Sections regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive any termination.

10. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Colombo, Sri Lanka. We encourage you to contact us at support@campusflow.lk before initiating any legal proceedings so we can attempt to resolve the issue amicably.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 14 days before the new terms take effect. Continued use of CampusFlow after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
